Sip n Dip - Water Colour Workshop

Come along and have some fun in a friendly group of likeminded folk who have always wanted to have a go at using watercolour paints but lacked the confidence to try. Suitable for absolute beginners to art in any form or those simply interested in returning to painting again after a break. Ideal for those looking for a little confidence building, inspiration and having some “Me time!” This is an opportunity to meet new friends whilst sipping and dipping and being creative with watercolours in a relaxed, informal group. Create your own style and walk away with the motivation to design your own cards or wall-art. You will learn the simple techniques and receive 1:1 guidance and advice on the few materials required for watercolour painting as well as purchasing tips, recommended brands and costs.
Kids Imagination Station 6 Week Course
Kids art exploration adventure of fun and creative ideas! Learning the fun of art. Inspiring children to use their imagination and develop their confidence with art in a small group. While using various art mediums. Experiencing the many ways to use every day, household items to create amazing textures and artwork.
◦ Watercolours and wax, oil, paint pipettes.
◦ Watercolours and rock salt, exploring the use of salt as it absorbs pigment to leave a fascinating effect on paper.
◦ Watercolours and bubble wrap - who doesn’t love bubble wrap? A tactile material used to create fun affects with paint.
◦ Watercolour splatters, a very popular use of brushes, laden with oodles of paint, tapped or splattered onto the paper seeing the fun of hidden designs appear in front of your very eyes!
This six week course aims to develop confidence and provide a wide knowledge of various textures with watercolours. Creating a portfolio of masterpieces and one chosen favourite, mounted and framed to proudly take home!

Join us for an opportunity to create your very own, bespoke artwork.
◦ Learning watercolour techniques in a small, relaxed, friendly group with a cuppa (of some sort!
◦ Photoshoot session on Felixstowe prom or bring a personal photo image as reference
◦ Preparing sketch for painting, tricks ideas and confidence building and inspiration
◦ Painting opportunity with 1:1 guidance, exploring various techniques
◦ Mounting and framing your own masterpiece of wall art to take home!

Kids Half term Crafty Art Club
This is a half term opportunity for those aged between 6- 16yrs to come along on a two hour adventure and have some fun exploring the wonders of watercolour painting. They will be encouraged to explore their imagination and to develop their confidence using everyday, household materials to create amazing textures and artwork. They will be guided to create their own designs and ideas and receive 1:1 support along the way.
This workshop will allow those taking part to proudly return home with their artwork and if requested mounted and framed. They will have been encouraged to have the confidence to have fun with art and experiment with watercolours.
